First of all, my prayers go out to the families and victims of this heinous massacre, but also to the surviving students, and their families. Many young, innocent children have either witnessed a crime that will haunt them for life, and many will not go home to their parents tonight, or celebrate Christmas this year, or birthdays, or see another day. It’s crazy to think that such a young kid’s life could be cut short by such a tragedy. It’s nonsense to think this would happen 20 minutes from my own school, in my state, in what was known as quiet, little Newtown. Honestly, I was thinking this country is getting back on track after the election, but some people are just so sick, that I sometimes think otherwise. Anyways my condolences to all of the families, friends, and us neighbors, affected by this terrible tragedy.
